Im july 5th filer .Filed I140 and I 485 conc .Opened SR for FP because didnt recieve it till NOV .In NSC_CSC_NSC.next day after opening SR i got Fp notice .Obvously nothin to do with SR .Got reply for SR after a month which says " Status I-485 USCIS is waiting boimetrics info to produce permanent residency card "
Any idea what would this statement mean ?

Just Thought
There is 200k application without 140 approval, this is including july filers.
there is lot of chnace for those who got their I-140 approved, even their PD '2006.
you can see people getting approved PD'2005 EB2 cases, even then VB says now 2004'apr for EB2.They are not processing based on PD now and in future also i gues.Since we have already filed.PD will restrict only to File I-485 in future.
I think EB2-jan2007 and EB3-Aprl2005 in October VB

This is not correct . Approval is only when your PD is current. People who got approval for PD 2005 EB2 cases were actually approved in July .Thier approval date is July 2007 when then the VB was current. VB is not just for filing,earlier in 2004 some people were approved when thier PD dates were not current, their approvals were cancelled. Part of the reason why July VB was made current so approvals made during that time who be as per as the VB. I had a friend who recieved notification that his GC was approved but his approval date is in July on the notice but he recieved it in Aug when his PD was not current.

I do not think there 100K people in 2006+2007 PD. Thats a wild assumption. There is only 65k quota. I think 30K or 40K labor approvals during 2 years makes more sense to me.

Is it a good idea to carry all my degree/masters certificates plus experience certificates along with that.
The only thing that came to my mind is regarding verification of degree certificates or experience letters mentioned on your Biographic Information form. Go to Local office and check.

There was a soft LUD on mine as well as on my wife's I-485 :D. Mine was filed in NSC on July 2nd 2007 and transferred to CSC for receipts and transferred back to NSC :confused:. Currently mine is not within the priority date :confused: . Not sure why there is sudden LUD this month :eek:.

I just mailed the opencongress.org on what do they do with the polling data. Is this is sent off to the lawmakers, or not.. Is there anyways that this polling data can be used to make our voices heard..

That is already the law. But this law has been proved to be virtually impossible to enforce. The only practical solution is to deny H1-B's to consulting firms (at least for the positions that require the employee to work at the client location).

If I were you, I would talk about my problem and how frustrated I am to ALL my colleagues and friends and well-wishers and get atleast 100 letters that will help to pass the "filing before PD current" admin fix which is part of the current campaign.
I dont see any light at the tunnel. PDs will not move until they allow 485 filing even PD is not current.
