I feel for all of you whose EAD is not yet receive. When my EAD was pending for more than 90 days, I wrote an email to the Ombudsman. I don't know if it helped or not. I just got RFE notice 4 days after sending the email. After replying to the RFE (photos), I got my EAD with no problems.

Guys, i'm not a member of the IC board or anything, but it's clear to me the benefits of contributing.
Illegals are contributing money, and more importantly their time and particpating in rallies en masse, meeting lawmakers, talking with the press, etc....folks, i'm not saying everyone can do such things here....but the leasst you could do is contribute $100 or $200 to this effort. Writing a check is the simplest thing to do....no one is asking you to stand in the cold air rallying for the cause (altho that would be helpful too...but i know many folks on the west coast, texas, etc probably won't be able to make it).
To put this more directly, if no relief comes out of this immigration reform session for us legal, skilled immigrants, you will have no one else but yourself to blame:(

yes my case rejected due to number of years of education.
My case they rejected because i have 3 year Bsc and 2 year master now funny thing is that i know my friend who did similar course from same university but he did same master degree like me but in part time so he complete in 3 years and he got approval in 2009.

Yes I am looking at the thread. I am expecting a very good forward movement(At least to 2007 Dec) in EB2 India category in the coming months.
If you see the Visa bulletin Archive for the last three years during April - Jul range theres a sharp jump in Priority dates(more than a year and more) for EB2 category. This happened during vertical fall out (This doesnt include last year because last year its horizontal fall out). So this year I am expecting the cut off dates will move at least two years ahead for EB2 India because of the horizontal fall out. For Eb3 I am not expecting any big change unless theres some immigration reform in the new OBAMA government.

Not that you know , you should have bought it before or you should have done through research before wasting others time.
I have 7 polices with LIC in India, One 700k term life with prudential and 300k whole life for my wife, but whole life in US Prudential is bad experience with one of well known company then done research on this topic. Whole life insurance policy all over the world has surrender charges(including LIC in India). you would not get full benefit if you do not complete 10/20/30 years term on your policy,you would get part of your money and loosing a lot.

Dear All,
Let us strive to achieve 10,000.00 contributions this month too. I request every one to please understand that either we get our GC's this year or forget for another two years due to mid term elections next year.
If we can pool really good amount, we may at least be able to lobby USCIS for some relief though with these small contributions, we may NEVER be able to lobby the congress.
We do not need to tell IV core what we want, they are all aware of our goals. But small contributions like 50-100 may not be enough to lobby to convince Congress our great contributions.
I am EB3 Oct 2002. Just received letter from SSN that, I have 40 credits now. We still can not even estimate when we will get GC's. In few months or few years?
If we think of 200 or 300 dollars, we may have to continue to suffer like this.
Can we determine to pool in at least 200,000.00 (each to contribute at least 300 dollars) so that we can at least hope for GC in few months and not years.
Please help yourself.

Send email to who ? Can you pls describe in detail what email they need to send and what reason they need to put in. My local office always says NSC is processing July cases so you should have it soon, but that "soon" has never happened. It is 160+ days since I applied.

My friend posted his 485 on June 17th and he got a receipt date of July 14th. At this rate, I am thinking I am thinking atleast 3months for July2nd filers..

My only concern is AC21 letters not getting into your file and USCIS issuing a NOID or a denial.
Other than notifying CIS of our job change, there is nothing else we can do. If it results in a denial, it is easy enough to reverse that, so I would not worry about it.
I am changing jobs in 2 weeks. As I said earlier, I am prepared for my employer revoking the 140 and CIS denying my 485 by mistake. At this point, I am not even bothering to notify CIS about my job change.

I just got off the call from uscis regarding my I-485. My PD is in the first week of Mar 2006.

I spoke to the second level IO and he was confident that my case would have to wait for the next month. Infact told me that my case was pre-adjd and being reviewed by IO currently.

You could also use some cheaper USPS option. as long as it has some delivery confirmation.
The reason I like express mail one day, is because u can request a copy of the receiver's signature via email (comes in a PDF). This is proof that USCIS really got it and u can then sleep nicely for the next 3 months.
