The OP is great. He has created a new id to discuss L1 fraud. Will he be creating one id per issue... recapture, H1B abuse, outsourcing, backlogs?? wow!!!
Not sure why he wants his/ her identity covered up. This shows how good some of us are in trying to make noises in the dark and not doing anything about issues in hand.
In all, I still don't understand why L1Bs cannot work at Client site. I am sure that the L1 petitions specifically ask for Client site / work location. If Client site address is mentioned, the USCIS does approve the petition. If it is against law, they will not approve the petition. I know this for a fact since some of my friends are on L1.
Regarding my identity cover up... I have mentioned couple of times abt the seriouness of the situation as the other party is a multi billion dollar organisation, second please add all the reasons why ICE/USCIS/DOL provides anonymity and whitsle bowler protection to people who brings these kind of violations to their notice.
Regarding working at client site... Yes they do get approved for working at client sites BUT with the condition that they would be working directly under the suprevision of their managers and NOT the client managers (they don't qualify for consulting assignments). Also these L-1B visas are approved for working on speciality skills NOT on common technical skills (like java/.net/DBs/Prod Support etc). Next time read your friends L-1B petition carefully and you could find all these details over there.. also verify the L1 reform act of 2004 (published in this thread).
Regarding retrogression... I agree that L-1B visas are not impacting the same much and also I think if someone in L-1A LEGALLY qualifies for EB-1 there is nothing wrong in getting the GC, If we think thats not appropriate then we should bring this upto the law makers and get it rectified BUT fake EB1s should be notified to authorities.
We are fighting against a fraudulant activity by which our jobs (and hence our GCs) are jeopardized and its not a fight against fellow immigrant BUT a fight against the greed of these corporates to make money even by committing such fraudulant activities.. hope this clears the doubt.

Click-2-Call allows you to call only "the vonage number" from PC.It makes the vonage number to ring and connect to the destination.

Get this: A fingerprint check takes 24-48 hours but a name check takes upto 6 months!!! There are over 8 billion individuals on the planet, and how many have duplicate names? OK, now how many have similar names? And by the way, if you already have a fingerprint, why does name check take so long?

I wont switch to vonage because i dont make much phone calls. Try to use google talk to cut expenses.
Hows Airtel 1c plan? Is the call quality and connection good ?

I recharged my account 10 days back at aitell 9.99 for 600 mins valid for 45 days. Today not allowing to make call due to insufficient balance. From the call history on their website, I only used 300+ minutes after recharge. I got doubt and looked all my recharges and usage from last 3 months. They are giving less minutes than advertisements on their website. I called to check with them today and customer service number is always busy. Any body using Airtel check your account history.

I have AT&T DSL, the 3 to 6 mbps plan...
Took vonage approximately 35 days back...works great....
my usual speed (tested using speedtest dot net) is around 5 MBPS download.
now the vonage setup (as you all might know) order is
1. DSL modem
2. vonage adaptor
3. your computer or router (I have a wireless router)
for the first 30 days (cancellation period) my internet bandwidth was not affect while using vonage...it used to remain around 4 to 5 mbps...
would drop down to 3 mbps when using VPN ..
but using phone (vonage phone) did not affect...
now the story seems to have changed after the cancellation period.... -:)
when I am connected to vpn (to office network) the speed is 4 to 5 mbps...
When I make a call and test the speed during the call my download speed is 0.09 MBPs...
I have started seeing this behaviour in the last 3 to 4 days....

its been 23rd day..H1B renewal..New Delhi..still waiting for PP..i got no slip ..no warning to wait ..nothing..
But now i think its not stuck due to PIMS..it could be anything ?? some admin processing ? some security check ? some name check ??
How do we differentiate what are our passports held up for..COULD THIS BE CALLED 221(g)..i read in forums..221g can take forever ??

Did VO tell you anything about administrative processing during your interview??

MY friend just spoke to Lingo, they are coming up a cheaper(may be $1 or $2 cheap) plan with unlimited to India/China and 101 countries and also can be used from a registered cellphone incase you do not have internet for any reason.
So, wait for couple of weeks and then choose the right one.

Can you please provide me the sequence to call TSC using the POJ method? Based on what I read earlier in another thread, it was mentioned to choose option 4 which is to reports cases that were seperated. I tried that, reached an IO. IO told me that I should not be calling that number to check the status of my case. Do I need to choose another option?

POJ method can be used for all cases that are current and in the processing window...just keep on trying ur luck and I am sure you'll land a decent CSR who will be much much more useful and worth your trials and efforts.
Be persistent and you have every right to be after all you came this far.
Write to Janet Napolitano and mention that you are unfairly getting delayed and that you want to know what is holding your application and all checks and clearances done and visa number is available...
