All,
I'm trying to post the IV Fliers at my Alumni School. But the issue is we need a 'sign off' from Facilities dept. at school. But again, the policy depends from School to School . Some dont need that at all.So i'm in the Final Process of completing the formalities and it is very simple.Just a simple courtesy phone call to the concerned to make this happen. All the international students are potential members to join IV and contribute to our cause. So i advise all the IV members/Core Members to think out of the Box like these as we have very little time left.but i really envy the Irish Lobby who are way ahead of us.Anyways, we need to bang it out hard or our life is gonna be dormant for lots of time.

My priority date Sept 5, 2006 is almost current and I am switching job to another company but similar job duties. From Sr. Systems Analyst to Sr. Business Systems Analyst. Should I file the AC21 now or wait till the RFE? If I wait and they approve my 485 without an RFE, then should I file AC21 at all?

What part of Canada did you move to?
I am from India and I have worked in the USA for the last 6 years. I have immigrated to Canada with a Job 6 months back to avoid overystaying. My experience in Canada is very bad. I am a MCAD and Sun Certifitied Developer having more than 8 years experience. I am looking for a job for more than 3 months in Canada and still not able to get a job. There is lots of racism here and people are not polite. I have been regularly applying for .NET jobs and the response is very bad. Maybe because I am from India. Try avoiding Canada as much as you can.

This question has been bugging the HECK out of me as well. I mean the only way this makes sense is if 245(i) + EB3 for India >> 245(i) for Mexico. Now from all that i have read/heard/seen, it seems like 245(i) is the major hurdle. Then how is it that EB3 India is stuck and everyone else is moving? The above equation must mean that there is a SIGNIFICANT number of 245(i) cases from India as well. Any thoughts anyone?
There is a general assumption that there not many 245(i) cases from Indian nationals. In reality, there are many people from India working in Grocery stores to Gas pumps applied for 245(i) during that period.
As USCIS started looking in to the continuation of services, couple of my friends who did not worked more than 180 days land into trouble during their I-485 denied. Their attorney suggested them to take the same 245(i) route and many such tech workers are also might have fall into this category.
I believe there may be several such 245(i) cases from India and we will be able to know the exact number of cases one and only if DOL / USCIS publish the number of cases at their end. Till then we have to live with our own prediction similar to that of visa bulletin.
This also gives a good idea for someone to start a predication thread for 'Number of 245(i) cases for India' :)
Thanks

I was just trying mention what a common expects from a GOD(If he/she really exists).Later we came to a conclusion that there is nothing like GOD it's only the Nature that exists
That's your conclusion , You are comfortable with word "nature" Some like to call it "god" , Some like to call "Bhagwan" Some like to call it "Jesus" Some like to call it "Allah", Some "Buddha", Some "Guru nanak"
Same goal different Name

I agree.
I lived in Canada for a year. I also worked in my own country before coming to the US. At least in my experience and from talking to dozens of friends in Canada, my home country offers more potential for revenue than Canada. You will see it when you move there.
I will never forget when I landed in Canada in Toronto back in 1998, I met a girl at the airport and many at the Hostelling International who told me lots of stories on why I should go to the US instead. That particular girl was living in the US illegally.
I am sorry to tell you that leaving the US and going to Canada may not be a solid plan B.
Why don't you start a similar forum for "going back to
India" ? I hate to burst your "bubble of hope" but Canadian population and job market is limited and the opportunities for professionals like us are limited. Why not consider going back to India and taking up some of the lucrative opportunities in middle management in the IT industry.
The Indian economy is booming and the salaries are excellent. You just need to make some adjustments with quality of life (pollution, traffic). Atleast its better than going to Canada, living in limbo while looking for suitable jobs for a long-time, sometimes even doing odd jobs just to make ends meet. I hate our Indian mentality that "every place in the world is better than our own country". Give me a break guys.
My plan of action is very clear: Go back to India and live there happily. If there are other opportunities in US then come back.
Cheers.

I just dont get it. A.R Rehman has been doing amazing work for ages now and it needed a British movie to take him to the world stage. Really, his work in Dil Se...was way better than what he did in Slumdog.
Bollywood sucks and how!!! They need to figure out how they can take their cinema to the world audience. They've been failing miserably in promoting their movies in the west. Americans welcome change and encourage talent always and our bollywood producers/directors need to tap that.
films are made for markets, you and i might say that bollywood is shit but guess what 1.2 billion people dont think so and it works for them!
if bollywood would try competing with hollywood it would get eaten up purely on the kind of mega budgets etc that hollywood has, bollywood has its own charm and audience and should relish it.and not loose its identity
