Can you back date your marriage during marriage registration?

A difficult option though since ur marriage is already scheduled...
Maybe she can apply for F-1 visa first, then get married...Let her come to US on F-1 and then get married here in local county...But it's tedious and lengthy process though, apart from the heartburn ur gonna give to many back home by postponing ur already fixed marriage...
Best way to deal with the situation is talk to an immigration lawyer...

Bottom line, AC 21 comes with risk, and you have to be ready to ride the wave, if things are to get delayed or you are to be out of work for some time. If there was anything I could have done differently, I would have REALLY forced new employer to file H1b on my behalf. I feel i laid down too easily on this request after my previous company said they would not revoke I-140. I did ask the legal team of the new company, and they said no. I should have discussed with my bosses, since they really wanted me, and would have probably overriden the legal team.
But life goes on...

you think it is safer to submit the last 2/3 paystubs while on H1 earlier along with the other documents we submit while filing for H1, or not even submit them.. I know the officer is at full liberty to ask whatever document he fancies at that moment and my stars at that time..

I would follow the advise of your immigration attorney on this one. Sometimes they ask for pay stubs, sometimes they do not. So I would follow what your attorney advises on you. Normally USCIS will not ask for W2's. However an embassy will, when you go for stamping. They will ask for W2 and your tax returns to verify if you got paid whatever is written on your application as your salary.

Is it a good idea to carry all my degree/masters certificates plus experience certificates along with that.
The only thing that came to my mind is regarding verification of degree certificates or experience letters mentioned on your Biographic Information form. Go to Local office and check.

Nothing against IV. I really think, that they are doin a great job
But why do u have to care about whether IV endorses this or not. If you think this is a great idea, go ahead and send the flowers urself.
I know alot of my friends, who do not care or know about IV, but have got the email chain and sent flowers on their own
So Don't make excuses. Send it on you own
It'll be nice if the core endorsed it. We members do contribute and participate in all campaigns when core asks. It'll be great if the core lets the ideas bubble up from members too! That'll make it a two way street.

FBI background check delay is the only reason why visa numbers are wasted every year.
I am not sure either way, however I have heard the FBI comment that they only flag a small fraction of cases. IF that is true, then the USCIS may just be using the FBI as an excuse.

I was thinking how to get a high tec job with Z visa. Because you might need to tell the employer that you are on Z visa. Tech employer might be hesitent to give us job on Z visa.

In my case I got a hard LUD followed by a soft LUD on 9/24/2008 and the message was the same. I was very confused if my case was transferred to NBC as I was going out of the country and did not want to miss the interview if anything came up.
After numerous attempts like calling NSC, making an inquiry through the congress rep and taking an Infopass appointment I was still not sure what was going on. Had already been through the NSC->CSC->NSC xfer and this new transfer again, god knows where!!
This thread kind of calmed me a bit as it clearly showed that I am not the only person who is seeing this message.
So, in effect this thread definitely helped me and am sure helped some other folks as well.
This is a discussion board and I don't think you can classify anything as being dumb or foolish. If you are a master at knowing rules and interpreting them better than others GOOD FOR YOU!

I think he would want to see a locksmith to get the damaged "lever" rectified before he sees a doctor lest someone should compromise the lock and break in while he is away to see the doctor.
