If I am correct, your PDs are current, right? Do you guys know if your case was pre-adjudicated and/or assigned to an IO? I keep reading from the forums that some apps with PDs as late as Dec 2004 and a couple of Jan 2005 got approved. Wondering why the earlier (eg. mine is July 04) not approved yet. Could we all join togther and write a letter to Napolitino(Thanks to SoP for the idea) and ask her to take some action on our cases?

I cannot renew my Driver's License if I don't have a valid work permit. I doubt whether the Receipt notice is enough for the Drivers License office to issue a new DL. I changed my employer and the new employer may ask for a new one. But I'm hoping that I might get one in less than 3 months. Let's see

I signed up today morning but yet not received any confirmation email. How long it takes for getting a receipt email from them? Account status is showing pending when login into online account. Any idea.

I raised an SR on 8/25/2009. I got a response that my "case was being actively processed, allow 60 days for a decision to be made". I kept calling uscis, every CSR told me the same thing "wait until Oct 25, and then raise another SR". I got the CPO email on 10/22.
As I mentioed in the previous posts, though I tried Senator, Ombudsman, calls thru my lawyer, I beleive that SR is the one that makes the IOs take a case out of a whole bunch and keeps it in the queue for approval.

I am not aware of anything that says that you need to bring this up initially in your job search. I personally wouldn't put it in my CV.
Apply for a job, as you would if you had a green card (keeping within the AC21 parameters.) If the question of visa sponsorship comes up then you can say you do not need it. I am not sure why people bring this up with their prospective employers. If you have employment authorisation, you have it, it is not employer specific, it is not site specific, it is quite broad in its scope. The employer
has to complete the I-9 like for anyone else. Any issues would be with the USCIS at the time of adjudication and that would be if AC21 rules are broken.
I think that sometimes we project our own fears onto employers and make issues when none exist. I've seen the same sort of doubts expressed about AP travel.
Folks need to grow more confident generally. For many their immigrant petitions 140s have been approved and their 485s have been pending for quite a while. They give you these interim benefits for a reason, so you can use them!
Not sure if you are in the IT field, but a reqruiter/HR is the first interfacing person. No matter what, these are the first questions you can expect when a reqruiter calls you.

Type in congressman your city name in google or yahoo search. It will give you various names for your senator and congressmen. Call them and give them your name FN LN, DOB, Alien number and fedex / delivery tracking mnumber. They will call you back with relevant information.

Where did you get the A number of the applicant? I checked my I140 approval there is no such number on it in front of Beneficiary name and in the bottom. Even in my I131 application the A number box is blank. Is there any other way to get this A number.

Just got off the phone after speaking to my lawyer. In legalese talk (aka CYA), he said he can't comment on rumors. When I mentioned that this is posted on AILA, he reiterated that he can't comment on news/rumors unless it's posted on his firm's Web site.
And he also said no one in his firm is working this weekend to send in all applications on Sunday evening/Monday morning.

Filed for EAD for my husband along with the I 485's and have had all receipts, also had fingerprints done already, exactly one month after the receipt date. Sent both entire packets of forms with checks to Nebraska. We did not file advanced parole since I still have a valid H1B and plan to stay in my current job until I get my card. Husband will work on EAD and will not travel until gets his card, no family left in England.

As per my conversation with Customer Supprt is that she sugested me to sign up with 4.95plan and after 30 days I am eligible for Hello World Max plan (Unlimited calling for 101 countries)

Click-2-Call allows you to call only "the vonage number" from PC.It makes the vonage number to ring and connect to the destination.
any settings need to be updated in vonage account for making the remote number to ring and connect to the destination ?
