My EAD expires on 08/19/2010. I am planning to apply 120 days in advance with a cover letter asking for new EAD with validity date beginning 08/20/2010.

My wife's 485 status changed online as "Card production Ordered".
My GC was approved last year august and waiting for her approval over a year.
I see a pattern of approval for people who got recent soft LUDs. Nola was another person who got SOFT LUD.

Please keep updating the IV tracker this month if you got approval. Please also encourage others to do the same.
We are going to see the trend of the approvals and if next month the dates go back or approvals look irregular, we will contact USCIS.

What would you like me to add? I like the response so far (as is), the way people are adding their dates should be sufficient.

Alright guys, I cannot tell you how excited I am to report that i got a call this morning from my attorney and my online case status also states that Card Production was ordered for my case!!!
After 8 long years.....i finally have been approved for permanent residency. After 7 years, i will finally, with peace of mind, go back to India to visit my family. Thanks to IV, everyone's help on these forums for helping me keep my sanity over the past 2 years....
After 15 years in the US, I will finally have my green card in hand soon.

is your PD current in March or Apr VB?? PD has to be current for them to look at your application. also there is also an amount of luck involved in this process

why dont you enlighten us all here with your english knowledge. i am pretty sure you are one cockroach who grew up in dirty gutter in some part of the world. You are here in IV just to create controversies between the IV members. Trust me, EB2 or EB3, we are smart enough to recognize tunnel rats like you and keep you where you belong - in the gutter...got it?
We know for sure nothing is going to happen with EB3 unless EB2 also moves. USCIS will never skip EB2 to help EB3. The law does not allow that. So, the interviewee must talk about the topic as a whole not EB2 or EB3 - no one in America knows what those mean.
The bigger issue is that not many can speak/write English well and so cannot be sent on TV....unless the interview is on Namaste India or something.

I have started my fundraising, but that is only because I have all the fundraising ideas in my head.
I will start sending out the Welcome Packages this week. The Welcome Package has a section for Fundraising and will help each Team IV Member reach his/her goal.
The first T Shirt order has also been placed, last week, I believe. I should be receiving this initial order by mail shortly and then I can mail out the T Shirts to those who have signed up thus far.
We need to still concentrate on our recruitment efforts this week and the next.

we send emails to members as a newsletter and will include this as action item. However we do not want to spam our members every now and then. we also want our members to update their details at this time so that we can reach out to them. only few members actually updated their information till now.

You might want to add some important words there. Otherwise you will be at the tail of 12 million people queue and god knows how long would that take them to clear.
There are a big disadvantage for them.
- They will not be able to milk us of those dollars on EAD/AP renewals year after year
Just 2 simple things...
1, Green card to anyone who has been "legally" employed in the US for 5 Consecutive years( can provide W2 for the past 5 years)
2, Citizenship for someone who has been in the US "legally" for 10 years.
1.1, Once this provision kicks in normal approval within a specific time frame. say 6/12 months.
1.2, They can also tie the 5 GC years with some minimum salary/prevailing age with region of employment.
Advantages to us..
- Removes all the stuff to do with country impartiality.
- Makes us independent of employer.
- Makes us competitive.
Advantages for them..
- Simple
- Provides proof that the individual has been productive to the economy/country in the past.
- They may wanna tie Citizenship with the 40 Credits from Social Security or something if that helps.
- Removes loopholes which assists in driving down wages as employee would like to make sure he is employed enough to meet the prevailing wage for the year. (Drive the complain that we bring down rates etc)
There might be more advantages, but I just wrote down a few.

Is there any way to distinguish contributing members from non-contributing members when they post on forums ... something like adding a field to "Join date", etc. to show whether they are contributing. This will at least persuade some members to contribute out of shame...

But, just think that getting the bill passed now will definitely help you in the future... I am still at my LC stage and it is currently rotting in PBEC - but I decided to contribute because I want to be in a better position when I get to 485 stage...
